  • Offer subsidized theater rentals to our fellow Chicago performing arts groups, including marketing consultation, audience development, box office support, and technical assistance.
  • Present high-quality programming with low ticket prices.
  • Maintain and improve our facility, a historic venue which is beloved by Chicago artists and audiences.

Ways to Give

Here are a few ways that YOU can invest in Stage 773:

  • Support our Annual Fund: General operating support is always appreciated! By supporting the Stage 773 Annual Fund, you help keep our stages lit and our theaters full.
  • Support our Emerging Artist Rental Fund: Gifts earmarked for this fund help us further subsidize rental costs for performing arts groups with annual budgets of less than $100,000, making it easier for them to perform on one of our stages and develop their artistry and audience.
  • Support our Internship Program: Each year, we employ several paid interns who receive extensive on-the-job training in arts management. Generally, our interns are college students or recent graduates who are anxious to learn about this business. Our interns do not merely stuff envelopes and answer phones – they take on real responsibilities! We provide them with training in several aspects of arts management, including box office, marketing, and development.
  • Support a Specific Project: You can direct you support toward a specific Stage 773 project, including SketchFest, the Cupid Players, Bri-ko, etc.

Internships

Gain valuable arts management experience as a Stage 773 intern! Our internship program trains the next generation of arts administrators through active participation in the day-to-day operations of our four-theater complex, under the tutelage and supervision of an experienced theater management team. Duties include interacting directly with our customers via box office sales and customer service; working on marketing and fundraising campaigns; and assisting in our space rental services program. Internships are available for college students and recent graduates.
