"Comics Are for Everybody continues to be a controversial statement, despite all evidence to the contrary. The panel will discuss the changes that have happened in the industry in the last ten years and how creators, fans, librarians, and publishers can make comics more accessible and appealing for everyone. We'll also highlight some great entry-level comics as well as lesser known books for experienced readers to dive into. Then the panel will do some highly interactive matchmaking: audience members will name a beloved genre/author/movie/etc and the group will come up with suggestions for comics they might enjoy, the more under-the-radar the better. Webcomics, self-published comics, manga, and any comic outside the realm of traditional publishing of course are welcome and encouraged!"
