The Lobster Show

The LIVINGroom returns in August with THREE nights of new solo performance at Stage 773: Sundays, August 13, 20, and 27, at 7:00 pm!

The LIVINGroom explores self-empowerment, love, forgiveness, reconciliation, perspective, and the obstacles that stand in the way of being who you are through solo performance that integrates soundscapes, original music, spoken word, movement, and you, the audience. Anxieties will be probed through dance, personal polarities questioned through music, and old friendships surveyed for clues about our place in life now. There might even be one especially comfy chair for a lucky audience member to receive some special treatment.

Featuring: Shi An Co, Bo Kinney, Megan Powell, Laura Reitsma, Jorge Silva, Van Ferdinand

Assistant Director: Spencer Diedrick

What is The LIVINGroom?
We tell true stories theatrically.
We bring together artists and directors who devise, stage, and perform autobiographical stories based on a theme. Staged in the Cabaret Theater at Stage 773, and in living rooms around Chicago, performances blend spoken word, movement, theatre, spectacle, music, and any other device that bridges the personal and the universal.
